Digital Still Camera mode
MPEG RECORDING
✤ You can record moving picture images with audio onto
the Memory Stick.
Saving the pictures captured by a camera as
a moving picture file onto MEMORY STICK
1. Check whether MEMORY STICK is inserted into
the camcorder.
If it is not in the camcorder, insert it onto the slot.
2. Set the mode switch to MEMORY STICK position.
3. Set the power switch to CAM mode.
4. Press the START/STOP button, the images are
recorded onto the MEMORYSTICK in MPEG4.

You can record 10 ~ 20 seconds continuously
in once by the recording object.
You can record a camera still image onto
I
memory stick by pressing the Photo button
instead of the START/STOPbutton.
5. Press the START/STOP button to stop the
recording.

I
Before using the MPEG REC function, check
whether the MEMORY STICK is inserted into the
camcorder.
I
Moving pictures can be made in two sizes,
160 ✕ 120 or 320 ✕ 240 (Pixel).
I
Moving images that you recorded are saved in
*.asf file format on the memory stick.
The file that you recorded are saved in a following

folder.
I
The moving picture images on a Memory Stick are smaller size
and lower definition than one on Tape.
I
The sound is recorded in type of mono.
I
The following functions are not allowed in M.REC Mode.

DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer), Digital Zoom, Fade, Program AE,
Digital Effect, Slow Shutter.

While you record in Memory Stick, don't insert or eject the tape
as it may record noise.

While you record in Memory Stick, don't eject it or it might break
the data on the Memory Stick or Memory Stick itself.

ENREGISTREMENT MPEG
✤ Vous pouvez enregistrer des images mobiles et du son sur la carte
Memory Stick.
Enregistrement d'images capturées par un caméscope sous forme
de fichier d'image mobile sur la carte MEMORY STICK
1. Vérifiez que la carte MEMORY STICK est insérée
dans le caméscope. Si elle n'est pas déjà dans le
MEMORY
STICK
caméscope, insérez-la dans la fente.
2. Placez le sélecteur de mode sur MEMORY STICK.

3. Réglez le commutateur sur CAM.
4. Appuyez sur la touche START/STOP.

Vous pouvez enregistrer de 10 à 20 secondes
d'images en continu.

Vous pouvez enregistrer une image fixe sur la
carte Memory Stick en appuyant sur la touche
Photo au lieu de la touche START/STOP.
5. Appuyez sur la touche START/STOP pour interrompre
l'enregistrement.

Avant d'utiliser la fonction MPEG REC, vérifiez que la
carte MEMORY STICK est insérée dans le caméscope.

Les images mobiles peuvent se présenter dans deux
formats : 160 ✕ 120 pixels ou 320 ✕ 240 pixels.

Les images mobiles sont enregistrées au format *.asf
sur la carte Memory Stick.

Les fichiers sont enregistrés dans le dossier suivant.

Les images mobiles enregistrées sur une carte
Memory Stick ont une taille et une définition inférieures
100SMDVC
par rapport aux fichiers enregistrés sur une bande.

Le son est enregistré en mono.

Les fonctions suivantes ne sont pas compatibles avec le mode
enregistrement photo.

Stabilisateur électronique d'images (DIS), Zoom numérique, Fondu,
Exposition automatique (Program AE), Effet numérique, Obturation
lente.

N'insérez ou n'éjectez pas la bande pendant l'enregistrement sur une
carte Memory Stick. Sinon, vous risquez de parasiter l'enregistrement.

N'éjectez pas une carte Memory Stick pendant un enregistrement sur
cette dernière. Sinon, vous risquez de corrompre l'enregistrement ou
rendre la carte inutilisable.
