25. Thread an M2 nut on each screw. Tighten the screws using
a #1 Phillips screwdriver while holding the nuts with pliers.
Do not over tighten the hardware and damage the underlying
wood.
26. Place a drop of thin CA on a toothpick. Use the toothpick to
apply the CA to each screw to avoid applying too much CA.
Allow the CA to cure before proceeding.
27. Repeat the process to install all the fl ap and aileron control
horns.
28. Use side cutters to trim the excess screw length.
29. Use a fl at fi le to fi le off any sharp ends after cutting the
screws. Use care not to damage the covering while fi ling the
screws.

30. Install the grommets and eyelets in the servos. Follow any
instructions included with the servo.
31. Secure an 18-inch (460mm) servo extension to the servo
using a retainer (SPMA3054).
 The length of the extension may vary depending
on servo selection. The extension listed is
suitable for the recommended servos.
32. Tie or tape the string located inside the wing to the end of the
servo lead.
33. Use a pin vise and a 5/64-inch (2mm) drill bit to drill the holes
for the servo mounting screws in the locations marked in the
previous step.
 If using a drill, make sure not to drill through
the covering on the top of the wing.
34. Thread a servo mounting screw into each of the holes in the
servo mounting holes.
