Der Kurvenflug
Das Modell wird am Anfang zur Eingewöhnung an das
Steuerverhalten in S-Kurven vor dem Piloten gegen den Wind
gehalten.
- Knüppelstellung 1:
Eine Linkskurve einleiten, bis das Modell kurvt.
- Knüppelstellung 2:
Knüppel loslassen, das Modell bleibt in der Kurve.
- Knüppelstellung 3:
Die Kurve durch Gegensteuern nach rechts wieder ausleit-
en, bis das Modell wieder geradeaus fliegt.
- Knüppelstellung 4:
Knüppel in Neutralstellung bringen.
- Knüppelstellung 5-7:
Nach einem erkennbaren Geradeausflug gemäß den
Knüppelstellungen 5, 6, 7 und 8 eine Rechtskurve fliegen
und das Modell wieder gerade legen.
- Durch ständiges Wiederholen dieser gegensinnigen Kurven
in S-Schleifen steigen. Zwischen den Kurven jeweils ein
Stück geradeaus fliegen.
- Durch die S-Schleifen entfernt sich das Modell im Steigflug
nicht soweit vom Piloten.
- Das Höhenruder am Anfang nur wenig betätigen (kleine
Knüppelausschläge).
Bei
Kurvenflug
Höhenruder zur Unterstützung leicht gezogen werden.
Nach Ausleiten des Kurvenflugs mit wenig Höhenruder
nachdrücken.

Turning
Until you have become familiar with the model's turning char-
acteristics it is best to fly S-turns into wind, keeping the model
upwind of yourself.
- Stick position 1:
Initiate a left-hand turn until the model starts turning.
- Stick position 2:
Release the stick to neutral and the model will continue
turning.
- Stick position 3:
Move the stick to the right and hold it there until the model
is flying straight again.
- Stick position 4:
Release the stick to centre.
- Stick position 5-7:
Allow the model to fly some distance in a straight line, then
carry out a right-hand turn using the stick positions 5, 6, 7
and 8, followed by a further straight run.
- By repeating this process - a left turn followed by a right turn
- allow the model to climb in a steady S-pattern. Always let
the model fly straight for a distance between turns.
- This flight pattern prevents the model getting too far away
from you while it is climbing.
At first you should only use the elevator when absolutely
essential, and even then keep stick movements very
small. You will find that slight up-elevator helps when turning;
it tightens the turn and keeps the model's nose up. You may

Le virage

modèle s'éloigne de son pilote.
Au début, utiliser la gouverne de profondeur le moins
possible (pas de débattement complet du manche). En
virage, pour conserver l'assiette du modèle et son altitude, il
est possible d'utiliser légèrement la profondeur.
