The following values are necessary for calculating the weld on dimension "Z":
1. Drawbar length ( mm )
2. Drawbar weight ( kg )

Drawbar: PZM L = 3000 mm
Z = 710 mm
Important!
The installation length of the return spring with clamp lock, 610 mm, must be
maintained.
The holder for holding the return spring is fitted to the lengthways strut of the drawbar at a
distance "Z" from the bearing eye connection (Fig. 5) in the direction of travel, in accor
dance with point 3.1 (page 8).
The drawbar must then be lifted as far as necessary in order to allow the return spring to
be hooked into the holder.
The drawbar should then be held in the horizontal position, adjust if necessary.

Using the return spring with clamp lock as height adjustment device
Important!
If it is necessary to use a return spring with clamp lock as a hold up device
(combination options 3 and 4 (pages 6/7)), first attach and adjust them.

Adjusting:

The drawbar installation is in the horizontal position when the return spring with clamp
lock is installed. Turning the clamp lock enables the towing eye to be set to the height
of the jaw of the hitch. The clamp lock must then be secured to prevent it releasing.
Using the return spring with clamp lock as support device

Turn the clamp lock to lower the drawbar installation by 200 300 mm from the horizontal
position, measured at the towing eye.
Tip:
If a lifting force of approx. 40 kg at the towing eye is exceeded, the support device must
be readjusted at the clamp lock. The clamp lock must then be secured to prevent it
releasing.
