the two safety screws included in the package.
Lead the electrical cable through the cable clamps and recess to outside the
base and place the device upright (see picture: Description).
Caution! A push button is located beneath the heater: this is the safety tip-
over cut-out switch. Knocking over the heater will cause this button to
protrude and the heater will turn off automatically. This means the heater
will not work when hanging.
 Select a suitable location for the device taking into account all the warnings
mentioned earlier in this manual.
 Fully extend the power cord and plug into a suitable 220-240V earthed socket!

Use and operation

Press the red On/Off button (7). The middle halogen light will start to operate
(400W).
If desired, use the control buttons (8) to also switch on the top and bottom
lights (both 400W).
To switch the top or bottom light off again, press the corresponding control
button again.
If you now press the oscillation button (9) the device will swivel horizontally
approximately 60°. Press the button again in order to de-activate the function.
Press the On/Off button again in order to switch the device off completely. Then
remove the plug from the socket. Never leave the heater plugged in when it is
not in use!
Please note: When you use the heater for the first time, a little smoke and an
odour may be produced. This is normal and harmless, and should cease after a
few minutes. If the heater does not stop smoking, switch the heater off, remove
the plug from the socket and contact your supplier.
The heater, and particularly the radiation grid, become extremely hot during use
and will also remain warm for some time after the heater has been switched off.
Take this into account!
If you wish to relocate the heater, first switch it off, remove the plug from the
socket and allow it to cool down before moving it. To relocate the heater, use
the handle.

Safety features

The heater is fitted with a tipping safeguard which automatically shuts off the
appliance if it inadvertently falls over. However, this does not rule out all risks:
even after the heater has been switched off, it and particularly the radiation grid,
will remain very hot for some time and if it is left lying, for example, on a wooden
floor or carpet, it can cause fire/melting/scorching damage and result in a fire.
Therefore remain cautious at all times!
