This machine / tool is not designed and intended for any other use than described in this manual (see item 3).
In the case of misuse, we will not assume any liability for resulting damages.
2.2 Additional Safety Instructions for the Handling of the Alcu-Press
•
The machine / tool may only be assembled, commissioned and set up by skilled personnel who read and understood the operating instructions.
•
Always use gloves when changing tools - sharp blades!
•
Before connecting to a hydraulic pump, make sure that the pump is switched off and the hydraulic line is depressured.
•
Make sure that the machine is depressurized (switched off) before assembly, cleaning or tool changes.
•
Hydraulic lines and hoses must not be bent. Prevent tripping hazards.
•
The maximum operating pressure of 450 bar must not be exceeded.
•
Safety devices must neither be removed nor deactivated.
•
Safety devices may only be removed during setting work.
•
Switch off / depressurize the machine after having finished working. Observe the operation manual of your hydraulic pump (see also item 3).
For damages caused by improper installation or non-observance of the safety instructions, häwa GmbH cannot be held responsible.
3. Features
The AlCu-Press type 2605 is particularly designed for processing solid copper and aluminum rails.
Within certain limits, it is also possible to process laminated copper rails.
Short processing time owing to simple insertion and removal of the workpieces.
The AlCu-Press type 2605 is supplied with an EC Declaration of Conformity subject to operation with häwa hydraulic pumps and complies with the
Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
CAUTION:
When operating the Alcu-Press with drive systems from other suppliers, the Delaration of Conformity shall only be considered as
Declaration of Incorporation. In this case, the commissioning engineer must prove that the complete unit complies with the
requirements of the Machinery Directive.
Please observe also the specifications of item 8 in this manual "Technical Data and Limits of Use".
We reserve the right to make technical modifications as part of further developments of the machine / tools.
3.1 Proper Use
The Alcu-Press type 2605 is designed for punching, cutting, bending and trimming solid copper and aluminum rails. It can also be used for punching,
bending and trimming laminated copper rails. The Alcu-Press is hydraulically operated.
The AlCu-Press 2605 must be operated in accordance with the specifications of this manual - see item 2 "Safety Instructions", item 7 "Code of Practice"
and item 8 "Technical Data and Limits of Use".
Any improper use or handling is an unauthorized misuse outside the manufacturer's legal liability limits.
3.2 Foreseeable Misuse or Improper Handling
Any unauthorized modification of the machine or tools and any foreseeable misuse or improper handling of the Alcu-Press type 2605 will invalidate the
EC-Declaration of Conformity and the operating licence.
