6. Commissioning

Follow all operating instructions in order to minimize the risk of personal injuries and tool damages.

6.1 Setup

Bolt the Alcu-Press on a stable and supporting table (net weight 163 kg). If the Alcu-Press is used as a portable device in your workshop, we recommend to
mount it on a mobile häwa base (order number 2605-7802-00-00 or a similar product).
Punch the required cut-outs and insert the machine.
Fix the Alcu-Press with countersunk screws to secure it against
displacement. Depending on the material of the table, use M6 machine
screws or 6 mm wooden screws (see red arrow marked with number "1").
Mounting of the rail guide for punching/cutting to length:
Fix the support foot at the rail guide and fix the guide
with 4 screws to the already mounted angular profile
(see red arrow marked with number "2").
When selecting the installation site, consider the space required for material feeding and
the swivel range for bending workpieces.
CAUTION:
Risk of cruising by careless handling when placing the Alcu-Press on the table.
Please provide the following:
• Correct height for fatigue-free working
• Provide a cut-out for "Alcu-Press Punching / Cutting to Length" for the scrap removal

6.2 Connection of the Line Laser Module

Connect the power supply unit 2600-2000-60-11 to an AC voltage between 100 and 240 volts.
Connect the power supply unit 2600-2000-60-11 to the line laser module 2600-2000-00-11.
CAUTION:
It is absolutely necessary to observe the attached data sheet of the line laser module!

6.3 Hydraulic Connection

Connect the hydraulic pump to the Alcu-Press by using the quick release coupling.
Do not operate the quick release coupling under load.
Select the corresponding switch position at the two-way valve for punching / cutting to length or for bending / trimming
Note:
We recommend the use of the following häwa hydraulic pumps:
Electro hydraulic pump 400 V
Air hydraulic pump
Electro hydraulic pump 230 V
(Note: stroke, 3 times longer compared to 400 V pump)
We recommend the use of the häwa electro hydraulic pump 0380 (order no.: 2611-0380-00-00).
CAUTION:
Switch OFF the hydraulic pump before inserting the tools.
7. Code of Practice
Follow all operating instructions in order to minimize the risk of personal injuries and tool damages.
Note:
When storing the tools, ensure that the tool cutting edges cannot be damaged.
