Intended Purpose

The metal cable gland plates "KDP" are designed for use on cable entry cut-outs of the series 33 enclosures. They are suitable for
inserting flexible electric cables and pneumatic hoses. The KDP type is designed for indoor use in a normal industrial environment.
In the case of special operating conditions being in place, special agreements must be made with the manufacturer!
The KDP type is not designed for dynamic loads.

These instructions are an integral part of the product.
They are meant for skilled persons in industry and trade and for instructed persons to equip, set up and connect control cabinets in
compliance with the applicable standards.
Please keep them in a safe place for future reference.

or abnormal use.

The scope of delivery includes:
- 1 cable gland plate, pre-assembled
- 1 rubber seal
- 1 set fastening screws for attachment to enclosure
All details given apply to type KDP used on series 33 enclosures.

Safety Instructions

The instructions on foreseeable misuse and residual risks as well as the special instructions and technical data specified on pages 7 to 8
of these instructions must be observed under all circumstances to reduce danger to life and limb as much as possible.
Please take note of the standards and regulations applicable to your low-voltage switchgear and control-gear assembly.
For any transport as well as during unpacking and installation, ensure that the product, especially the rubber plates, are not
damaged.
Torque specifications must be adhered to.
Ensure that the ambient temperatures at the installation site do not fall below -25 °C or exceed +40 °C, that there is no coarse dirt
and excessive moisture.
Insert only one cable through each opening.
Only the opening that matches the cable diameter should be used - see Technical Data.
No additional weight should be applied to the cables.
Ensure that the cables inserted are not subjected to dynamic movement during operation.
Insert the cables perpendicular to the opening.
Secure the cables on both sides of the opening before deflecting or distributing them - see Insertion of Cables.
