6) What you can see on the screen of the CPT
6.1 Basic display
The display loop shows airflow, static pressure, air speed and alarms on the display in function of the configuration made.

7) Fan running status
One of 2 relays of the SAT3 option indicates if the fan is actually running (working point > 20% set point) or not.
This allows for example to start an electrical heating coil or a compressor only when the fan is actually running (contact
closed). It is an extra safety feature because you have the cetainty the fan is actually running (closed loop principle)
draait.
Wiring diagram: see schematic
8) Alarms
The KIT CPT includes 8 different alarms:
Type 1: An alarm on fan failure (1).
Describes a fan function default (on fan Fx). Check wiring, connections and 230V supply.
Otherwise the problem can be caused by defective wire, control circuit or motor. (text is displayed on several
successive screens).
See 1 in table underneath.
Type 2: Pressure variation alarm (valid for CA and LS modes only).
It signals a pressure alarm on fan Fx.
See 2 in table underneath.
Type 3: An alarm on the reference pressure initialisation (1).
3 situations possible :
- Actual airflow < requested airflow: the requested working point is located at a pressure level exceeding the
maximum pressure available for this fan
- Actual airflow > requested airflow: the requested airflow cannot be attained because it is lower than the lower
limit for this fan.
- Pressure unstable.
See 3 in table below.
cannot be defined and motors are set in "softstop". To restart, press RESET button on the CBr4 until the
Pa

alarm LED shuts off.
- If during pressure alarm init: the CB will operate normally but without a configured alarm pressure. If you
wish a pressure alarm anyway, determine the cause (system pressure or configuration, airflow, working
zone,...) and start again the pressure alarm init.
- If during CP init: determine the cause (system pressure or configuration, airflow, working zone,...) and start
again.
Type 4: Fan cannot reach the airflow request alarm (1).
The airflow request cannot be maintained constant because the actual working point has reached the lower or
the upper limit of the fan's working zone.
See 4 in table below.
