3) Operating with CBr4 as master
3.1 Wiring diagrams
See specific wiring diagrams // per mode in appendix 1.
The start/stop of the fans must be activated with entries of the CBr4 (softstop ) and not via power supply 230V.
3.2 Working modes
The CPT TAC3 kit can be configured via the CPT in one of the 5 modes :
CA MODE:
The user defines 3 constant airflow instructions for fans F1,F2 : m³h K1, m³h K2 et m³h K3.
These are activated using entries K1/K2/K3 of the CBr4 and highlighted by LEDs I / II / III of the CPT.
Assigned airflows of F3 and F4 is a user defined percentage of the airflow of F1 (%F34/F12).
CPf MODE:
CPf on F1: Fans F1/F2 are automatically modulated to keep a given pressure value constant according to the calculated
pressure value on the fan. Assigned airflows F3 and F4 is a user defined percentage %F34/F12 of the airflow of F1.
CPf on F3: Fans F3/F4 are automatically modulated to keep a given pressure value constant according to the calculated
pressure value on the fan. Assigned airflows F1 and F2 is a user defined percentage of the airflow of F3 (1/%F34/F12).
Soft Stop/Start of fan is controlled by entry K1 of CBr4.
Entry K3 on CBr4 allows to activate another pressure instruction (for instance night/day...).
MODE CPs:
CPs on F1: Fans F1/F2 are automatically modulated to keep a given pressure value constant according to the measured
pressure value in the ducting. Assigned airflows F3 and F4 is a user defined percentage %F34/F12 of the airflow of F1.
CPs on F3: Fans F3/F4 are automatically modulated to keep a given pressure value constant according to the measured
pressure value in the ducting. Assigned airflows F1 and F2 is a user defined percentage of the F3 airflow (1/%F34/F12).
Soft Stop/Start of fan is controlled by entry K1 of CBr4.
The pressure sensor signal is connected to entry K2 on CBr4.
Entry K3 on CBr4 allows to activate another pressure instruction (for instance night/day...)
LS MODE:
The requested airflow value for fans F1 / F2 is a function of the signal 0-10V connected at on entry K2 ( linear link). The
user defines the link LS with 4 values Vmin, Vmax, m³h≡Vmin and m³h≡Vmax.
Assigned airflows of F3 and F4 is a user defined percentage %F34/F12 of airflow of F1 (except if a separate 0-10V signal
is connected and set up with advanced setup to control F3/4).
Soft Stop/Start of fan is controlled by entry K1 of CBr4.
The pressure sensor signal is connected to entry K2 on CBr4.
Entry K3 on CBr4 allows to activate another airflow instruction (for instance night/day...)
Principle schematic :
MODE OFF:
This mode allows to stop the fans with the CPT in CBr4 to master configuration. To restart the fans it is necessary to go
back to one of the other 4 working modes.
Display
Value m³h≡Vmin can be smaller or greater than m³h≡Vmax.
Note: in « advanced setup » it s possible to stop the fan when the signal is
lower or higher than set value.
