Spazzole centrali
Le spazzole centrali sono l'organo che carica i rifi uti nel contenitore po-
steriore.
!
Attenzione!
Non raccogliere mai fi li, corde, ecc... perché, avvol-
gendosi alle spazzole, possono danneggiare le seto-
le. E' comunque consigliabile un'ispezione periodica
delle condizioni delle spazzole.
Regolazione spazzole centrali
Le spazzole centrali devono solamente sfi orare il terreno, lasciando una
traccia a terra (a macchina ferma su piano) di 3 cm di larghezza (come
indicato in fi gura). Quando le spazzole centrali, in posizione di lavoro,
non toccano più il terreno lasciando tracce di sporco, signifi ca che si
sono consumate sul diametro; pertanto occorre regolare l'abbassamen-
to nel seguente modo:
•
Allentare il volantino di fermo 1.
•
Con l'utilizzo di una delle chiavi in dotazione (3 o 4) abbassare
le spazzole, ruotando in senso orario la barra fi lettata 2 fi no ad
ottenere la traccia corretta.
•
Bloccare il volantino di fermo 1.
Sostituzione spazzole centrali
•
Togliere il contenitore rifi uti e sollevare la macchina dal lato
anteriore.
•
Svitare le viti dei due supporti 5, che fi ssano le spazzole e ri-
muovere i detti supporti.
•
Togliere le vecchie spazzole e montare quelle nuove, rispettan-
do il montaggio indicato dalle posizioni A e B in foto.
A = spazzola con setole grosse (Bianca).
B = spazzola con setole sottili (Azzurra).

Main brushes
The main brushes sweep dust and refuse into the bin at the rear of the
sweeper.
!
Caution!
Never sweep up string, wire, etc.,which can become
entangled in the brushes and damage the bristles.
Periodically check the condition of the brushes.
Adjusting the main brushes
The main brushes should just touch the fl oor. While the sweeper is
stationary on an even fl oor the section of fl oor covered by the bristles
should be 3 cm wide (see Figure). If the main brushes no longer touch
the fl oor, or leave lines of dirt, they have worn down and must be adju-
sted. Proceed as follows to adjust the main brushes:
•
Slacken off knob 1.
•
Use the wrench 3 or 4 on tie-rod 2 to lower the brushes and turn
it clockwise to obtain the right trace.
•
Re-tighten knob 1.
Replacing the main brushes
•
Remove the refuse bin and lift up the sweeper at the front.
•
Remove the screws from its two supports 5.
•
Remove the old brushes and mount the new ones as the posi-
tions A and B shown.
A = brush with thick bristles (white)
B = brush with fi ne bristles (light blue)
