4) Um den WASH-250 von einem Lichtsteuergerät
bedienen zu können, muss die DMX-Startadres-
se für den 1. DMX-Kanal eingestellt werden. Ist
z. B. am Steuergerät die Adresse 17 für die Steu-
erung der Schwenkkopfdrehung vorgesehen, am
WASH-250 die Startadresse 17 einstellen.
a) Die Taste MENU (10) einmal drücken, so dass
im Display (address) angezeigt wird.
b) Die Taste ENTER (12) drücken. Das Display
blinkt.
c) Mit der Taste DOWN oder UP (11) die ent-
sprechende Adresse einstellen (1 – 497).
d) Zum Speichern die Taste ENTER drücken.
Das Display zeigt für einige Sekunden
Danach erscheint wieder die gewählte Start-
adresse. Wird die Taste ENTER nicht inner-
halb von 8 Sekunden betätigt, schaltet das
Gerät auf die vorherige Adresse zurück.
Nach dem Einstellen der Startadresse für den
1. Kanal sind alle übrigen Kanale des WASH-250
den darauf folgenden Adressen zugeordnet. Bei-
spiel bei 16-Kanal-Betrieb:
Startadresse 17 = Kanal für die Drehung des
Schwenkkopfes (Pan)
Adresse 18 = Kanal für die Neigung des
Schwenkkopfes (Tilt)
Adresse 19 = Kanal für die Geschwindigkeit
Adresse 20 = Kanal für den Dimmer
...
Adresse 31 = Kanal zum Abrufen vorpro-
grammierter Farbmischungen
Adresse 32 = Reset
5) Nach dem Einstellen der Startadresse lässt sich
der WASH-250 über das angeschlossene Steu-
ergerät bedienen. Die eingestellte Startadresse
wird vom Display stets angezeigt, sobald Steuer-
signale vom DMX-Steuergerät empfangen wer-
den. Zusätzlich leuchtet die rote LED DMX (13).

channel. If e. g. on the control unit the address 17
is provided for controlling the pan motion of the
pan head, adjust the start address 17 on the
WASH-250.

If the button ENTER is not actuated for
8 seconds, the unit will return to its previous
address.
After adjusting the start address for the first chan-
nel, all other channels of the WASH-250 are
assigned to the following addresses. Example for
a 16-channel operation:
Start address 17 = channel for the pan motion
of the pan head
Address 18 = channel for the tilt motion of
the pan head
Address 19 = channel for the speed
Address 20 = channel for the dimmer
...
Address 31 = channel for calling prepro-
grammed colour mixtures
Address 32 = reset
5) After adjusting the start address, the WASH-250
can be operated via the control unit connected.
The start address adjusted will always be dis-
played as soon as control signals are received
from the DMX control unit. In addition, the red
LED DMX (13) will light up.
