Problem
Sprayer does not auto-
matically switch off in
the AUTO-START set-

Action
Make sure that the air hose and associated com-
ponents are those that were supplied with the
sprayer.
Disconnect air hoses. Check whether all the seals
are in place on the hose connections.
Replace with original accessories, as required.
Only use original SmartFinish 360 gun.
Clean the gun if Auto-Start is activated when the
air valve is closed at the hose end. See cleaning
the gun. See separate gun manual.
Clean ring, clean sealing surfaces, safely attach
ring. See filling of the cup system.
Make sure that the air cap for the SmartFinish
360 gun is installed.
Completely screw on the retaining ring for the air
cap.
Make sure that the position of the retaining ring
will not lead to the air cap becoming loose.
To increase the air flow, turn the valve clockwise
until the desired air flow is reached.
Make sure that the gun hose is correctly connected
to the cup and gun.
Make sure that the gun hose is not bent.
Hose is damaged. Remove the damaged part of
the hose. Replace the hose, as required. See sepa-
rate gun manual.
Damaged connection between cup and cover.
Make sure that the connection is tightly screwed.
Replace cup system, as required. See separate
gun manual.
Make sure that the cup is not filled above the
"Maximum filling height" line.
Clean ring, clean sealing surfaces, safely attach
ring. See filling of the cup system
Tighten connection using tool, as required.
Replace O-ring. Grease O-ring to make installation
easier.
Install cup insert
Replace cup insert
