Safety Instructions

This device must not be used by children. Children and animals

must be kept away from the device and the mains cable!
This device may be used by people with reduced physical,
■
sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or
knowledge if they are supervised or have received instruction on
how to use the device safely and have understood the dangers
resulting from this.
Children must not play with the device.
■
ATTENTION! The blades in the inserts are sharp! Be careful when
■
handling the blades in order to prevent any cuts. You should only
ever touch them by the plastic parts.
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
■
when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling
or cleaning the device.
Do not make any changes to the device. If the motor unit, the
■
accessories, the mains cable or the mains plug show visible
signs of damage, the device must not be used. Do not try to
repair the device yourself or to replace the mains cable or mains
plug. Have the repairs performed only by a specialist workshop
or the customer service department. In the event of any damage,
contact our customer service department immediately.
Dangers of Injury
■ Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and
animals.
■ Danger of injury! Never use your fi ngers or other implements to turn the vegetables
through the cutting inserts; you could injure yourself on the cutting blades or damage
them.
■ Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair, hands
and other body parts away from the device so that nothing can get caught in rotating
device parts.
■ Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard.
■ Make sure that your working area is always well lit when using the device.
