18.8. Use of the inverter's internal wattmeter or the external
wattmeter
These units can be used in different types of installation with different types of loads (critical and non-critical).
Depending on the type of loads in the installation, either the inverter's internal wattmeter or an external wattmeter
will be used.
The use of the inverter's internal wattmeter only allows managing loads connected at the unit's critical load output.
That is, only the management of critical loads.
The use of an external wattmeter allows to manage both the critical loads connected to the inverter and the
non-crit. loads connected to the distribution grid.

Stand-alone installations
In stand-alone installations the unit's internal wattmeter is used. All the loads that are managed are connected to
the inverter's critical load output.
UPS installations
In UPS installations the unit's internal wattmeter is used. The loads that are managed are connected to the
inverter's critical load output. The non-crit. loads connected to the grid side are not managed by the inverter.
Self consumption installations
In self consumption installations the external wattmeter located at the grid connection point is typically used. This
allows the inverter to manage all the existing loads in the installation, both critical and non-critical.
The unit's internal wattmeter may only be used in the event that all the loads are connected at the inverter's
critical load output.

18.9. Updating the inverter firmware

The simplest way to update the inverter firmware is through the web application, with an internet connection.
If there is no internet connection, it can also be updated via the web application itself, or from the unit's USB port.

To perform this procedure, the inverter must be connected to the Internet through a Wi-Fi network or Ethernet.
