18.7.4. Configuring the regulations in grid connection installations

In installations connected to the distribution grid the inverters must operate according to the regulations applicable
to the installation.
To select the applicable regulation, access Configuration > Advanced Settings > Grid Settings.
After configuring the regulation, configure the rated voltage and frequency. To do this, access Configuration >
Advanced Settings > AC Installation type.

18.7.5. Configuring the TT/TN grounding system

DANGER
Before proceeding with the grounding system configuration, correctly identify the connection of the grid
neutral cable in the unit (see
configuration of the grounding system.
These inverters include as standard a relay for connecting the critical load neutral to ground in installations with TT
neutral regime.
By default they are configured with the TT grounding system. This means that when the unit works in off-grid mode
or without grid, in UPS and Self consumption modes, the inverter connects the neutral cable from the critical
loads to the installation's ground. This way, a grounding fault in the critical loads is detected and protected by the
installation's residual current device.
For installations with a TN neutral regime, the inverter's grounding system must be changed from Configuration >
Advanced Settings > AC Installation type > Grounding System.
In TN systems, the inverter will always maintain the critical load neutral cable connected to the distribution grid
neutral, both in off-grid mode and in on-grid mode.

18.7.6. Configuring the battery charge from the distribution grid

In installations connected to the distribution grid, these inverters can be configured to charge the batteries from
the grid. The configuration will be different depending on the type of installation.
UPS installations
In UPS installations, the batteries will be charged from the grid until they reach the SOC Grid state of charge (see
section
"18.7.3. Configuring the operation mode and its
battery charge:
1.
Access Configuration > Advanced Settings > Operation Mode > Maximum battery charging power from the
Grid.
2.
Enter the maximum power in watts. If you do not want to charge the batteries from the grid, enter
0 watts.
In addition, it is important to define the contracted power in the installation for the inverter to optimize the battery
charge. To establish the contracted power:
1.
Go to Configuration > Advanced Settings > Grid Settings > Hired Grid Power.
2.
Enter the contracted power in watts.
The battery charge will be performed with the lower power between:
