Using the unit
Self consumption installations
In self consumption installations, the inverter allows managing the battery charge daily through the scheduling. By
default, this function is switched off.
To activate it, access Configuration > Advanced Settings > Self Consumption Settings > Scheduling for Charge
Battery from Grid and set the following parameters:

In addition, it is important to define the contracted power in the installation for the inverter to optimize the battery
charge. The contracted power is defined in Configuration > Configuration Avanzada > Grid Settings > Hired Grid
Power.
The battery charge power from the grid at any given time is equal to the difference between the Contracted Power
and the Total Consumption from the installation loads.
18.7.7. Configuring the maximum photovoltaic excess distribution grid
injection power
In installations connected to grid, these inverters can be configured to inject excess photovoltaic power to the
distribution grid. This makes it possible to sell excess photovoltaic power in a simple and automatic way.
To set the maximum grid injection photovoltaic power:
1.
Go to Configuration > Advanced Settings > Operation Mode > Maximum surplus PV power injected into
the Grid.
2.
Enter the maximum power in watts. If you do not want to inject excess photovoltaic power to the grid,
enter 0 watts.
The inverter uses photovoltaic energy as a priority to supply consumptions and to charge the battery. In the event
of excess photovoltaic energy, the user can decide whether to inject into the distribution grid or limit photovoltaic
production through this parameter.
18.7.8. Configuring the Battery-Backup function in self consumption
installations
In self consumption installations these inverters allow performing the Battery-backup function. In the event of a
distribution grid failure, the inverters internally disconnect the installation from the distribution grid and provide
the necessary power to the consumers from the batteries and the PV array. To do this, the consumers must be
connected to the inverter in the critical loads output (see
By default, this function is switched off. To activate it, access Configuration > Advanced Settings > Operation
Mode > Self Consumption Settings > Battery-Backup Function.
The response time of the system in the event of a grid outage is imperceptible for most of the consumers.
In the event of a grid outage, only in TT grounding systems the inverter will automatically connect the critical loads
neutral to ground, using its internal relay.
