EXCHANGING THE UTC-AC RESP. UTC-DC
ELECTRONIC MODULE
Caution! This should only be carried out by a FRONIUS cus-
tomer service technician or by trained specialist personnel.
- Switch off the machine and pull out the plug first!
- Unscrew the fixing screws and tilt out the electronic module
- Undo plug-in connection X2 (at rear of UTC-AC resp. UTC-DC
control unit)
- Insert a new control module
- Replace the plug-on connections correctly
- Screw the slide-in module down firmly
Warning! Do not start using the machine again unless the
UTC-AC or UTC-DC electronic module has been correctly
fastened to the machine with all fixing screws. No warranty
claims will be accepted in respect of any damage caused to
electronic components as a result of inadequate HF shielding!

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Under normal operating conditions, the MW 2600 / 2600CEL /
3000 and TT 2600 / 2600CEL / 3000 machines need only a
minimum of care and maintenance.
However, to ensure continued trouble-free operation of your
machine for years to come, a certain amount of basic maintenance
must be carried out.
Caution! Switch off the machine and pull out the plug first!
- Check the mains plug and mains cable, and the welding torch
and earth connection, for signs of damage from time to time.
- Once or twice a year, unscrew the welding machine casing and
clean out the inside of the unit using dry compressed air (be
careful - blowing compressed air directly onto electronic com-
ponents from too close a distance may damage them!)
