2. Product and function description

The Multiplex WINGSTABI Evolution is a freely programmable 3-axis gyro
system for all RC fixed-wing models. It gives the pilot the „perfect" feeling for
his model at all times and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of handling,
settings and range of functions, whether for beginners or professionals. The
WINGSTABI can be operated in the EasyControl or Classic version, turning any
simple remote control into a freely programmable RC system if required.

2 flight phases:

· 1. damping
· 2. heading hold

Functional description:

Damping mode:
External influences such as crosswinds during take-off and landing and a
general inherent levelling of the model are minimised. -> We speak here of a
kind of „wind switch".
Heading Hold:
An attempt is made to maintain the current flight attitude. The model must be
actively steered to the next flight attitude. This mode requires a certain amount
of experience when flying with the WINGSTABI. Caution: stalls are often
noticed too late by the pilot.
Advantage: Extremely good control of any disturbances in flight.
The special feature of the WINGSTABI is that the rudder is specially
controlled in an optimised way, which ensures a natural flight of the model.
