1. GENERAL
1.1 Uses
The LIFTSON M and L is an automatic sewage lifting unit built to EN
12050-1 for sewage both free of and containing faeces for the
reflux-free drainage of drainage points in buildings and properties
below the reflux level.
Among other things, the following may not be discharged:
solids, fibrous materials, tar, sand, cement, ash, rough paper, rubble,
rubbish, waste from abattoirs, fats, oils and swimming pool water.
A fat collector is to be fitted in businesses which produce sewage
containing fat.

2. SAFETY
These instructions contain important information that must be
followed when installing and operating the pump. The installer and
the responsible operator must therefore read these operating
instructions before assembly and commissioning. They must always
be available at the place where the installation is used.
In addition to the general safety instructions laid down here in the
Safety section, the special safety instructions laid down in the
following sections are also to be observed.
2.1 Danger symbols used in these operating instructions

2.2 Staff training
All assembly, operation, maintenance and installation staff must
have the appropriate qualifications for such work.
2.3 Risks incurred by failure to comply with the safety precautions
Failure to comply with the safety precautions could result in personal
injury or damage to the pump or installation. Failure to comply with
the safety precautions could also invalidate any claim for damages.
In particular, failure to comply may lead to problems such as.
- the failure of important parts of the installation,
- injury resulting from electrical or mechanical factors,
