CONTROL BOARD CHARACTERISTICS
The VIVO-M203(M) control board is designed to form
part of an automation system for one or two leaf swing,
sliding or up-and-over doors and gates, driven by single
phase motors with alternating current, with encoder,
with limit switches, or without encoder or limit
switches.
VIVO-M203: 230Vac operators, 50Hz;
VIVO-M203M: 125Vac operators, 60Hz
Technical characteristics
Power Supply (VAC/Hz)
Motors maximum load (A)
Accessories maximum load 24V (mA)
Operation temperature (ºC)
Protection fuses (A)
General characteristics
• Facilities with one or two operators
• Control of run by encoder, limit switches or time,
programmable
• Programming using the display
• Adjustable maximum force
• Adjustable standby time in automatic cycle
• Opening and closing safety device cable connectors
(photocells)
Notable characteristics
Self-testing of photocells (programmable)
(Cable connectors P21 and P22)
The board tests the photocells before starting each
opening operation. If a failure is detected, the operation
is not carried out.
STOP pushbutton (emergency stop)
(Cable connectors P7 and P8)
This control board allows an em ergency stop
pushbutton to be installed (STOP). This pushbutton is of
NC type (normally closed). Opening this contact makes
the gate stop immediately.

Installation Guide
This control board has a torque limitation system to
adjust the impact forces to the required values.
This control board is equipped with a slowdown system
which reduces speed at the end of the opening and
closing operations, in order to prevent impacts and
bangs to the gate.
In both cases, it is necessary to install additional safety
elements (photocells or mechanical strips) in order to
fulfil the requirements of Standard EN 12453.

• Cable connectors for mechanical or resistive strip
• Cable connector for emergency stop pushbutton
(STOP)
• Connector for plug-in receiver
• Connector for AEPS1 card for independent brakes
or traffic light (for CICLON, MAGIC)
• Soft startup and slowdown system
• Fixed 24VDC output for peripheral connections
• Output with 24VDC testing for photocell connection
• Adjustable lapse between leaves in closing
Garage light (programmable)
(Cable connectors G7 and G8)
The garage light time can be programmed between 0
and 240 seconds. Time begins to count when the
operation starts.
Flashing light (live output)
(Cable connectors G9 and G10)
The light remains on during the opening and closing
operations.
The light goes off when the operation finishes. The light
goes off whenever operation is interrupted at an
intermediate point.
Slowdown function (programmable)
Function which reduces the speed of the motor at the
end of the opening and closing operations.
