Inserting / Removing the Collecting Container
Attaching / Removing the Crevice, Brush and Wet Nozzles

The crevice nozzle (26), the brush nozzle (27) and the wet nozzle (28) are inserted
as far as they will go into the suction opening (4) of the collecting container (5). Pull
out the nozzles to remove them again.
Charging Up the Battery
CAUTION!

Charge the battery only with the mains adapter (1) supplied with it. Do not use the
mains adapter (1) to charge up other batteries.
■
Both ON / OFF switches (11, 17) must be in the OFF position.
■
It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you fi rst use the device
in order to achieve the maximum charging capacity. The fi rst charge will last for
12 – 15 hours. Subsequent recharging will take up to 12 hours.
If the battery control lamp (10) of the motor unit (13) is lit up, the battery must be charged
for approx. 12 hours. If it is not lit and the device cannot be switched on, the battery is
fully discharged. Then charge for approx. 12 hours, as well.
1. Slide both ON / OFF switches (11, 17) to the OFF position.
2. Insert the cordless vacuum cleaner into the frame (24).
3. Place the frame (24) in a dry location near to a properly installed, easily accessible
plug socket.

Removing: Press the release button (21) on the frame (24)
and pull out the cordless vacuum cleaner.

Removing: Hold the cordless vacuum cleaner with the
collecting container (5) at the bottom. Grip the collecting
container (5), press the release button (9) and remove the
motor unit (13).

Inserting: Plug together the collecting container (5) and
the motor unit (13) until they are heard to engage.
4. First plug the barrel connector on the mains cable into the
charging socket (20) on the frame (24) and then connect
the mains adapter (1) to the plug socket.
The charge control lamp (19) lights up when the device is
connected to the mains power.
5. After charging, pull the mains adapter (1) out of the plug
socket and the barrel connector out of the charging sock-
et (20).
