Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fi ngers and all other body parts away
from the suction opening of the device. They could become stuck to the device.
Should the device become stuck, switch it off immediately.

If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to
come into contact with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected
sites with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as soon as possi-
ble.
Danger of Electric Shock
■
Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate the device in rooms
with high humidity.
■
If the device is used to clean the inside of a car, make sure that it is not exposed to
any rain or moisture.
■
Never touch the motor unit, the mains cable or the mains adapter with wet hands.
■
Keep the motor unit, the mains cable and the mains plug away from moisture or wet
conditions!
■
Connect the mains adapter only to a properly installed plug socket with safety con-
tacts whose mains voltage corresponds to the data on the rating plate. The plug
socket must still be accessible after the connection has been made. Only use suitable
extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the mains adapter.
■
Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wrap the mains cable around
the mains adapter (danger of the cable breaking).
■
Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket in the event of a thunderstorm.
■
When you pull it out of the plug socket, always pull on the mains adapter and never
the mains cable!
■
Always check the device and accessories for damage before putting them into oper-
ation. Do not use them if they are damaged!
■
In the event of damage / faults (e.g. unusual noises, odour or smoke development),
or if the device has been dropped, switch off the device. Have the device checked in
a specialist workshop before using it again.
Danger of Fire
■
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable substances or poisonous
and explosive fumes.
■
Do not operate the device on hot surfaces or close to a naked fl ame.
■
Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fi re. Do
not insert anything into the nozzles / ventilation openings of the device and make sure
that these do not become clogged.
■
In the event of a fi re: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the fl ames with a fi re
blanket or a suitable fi re extinguisher.
