Make sure that the mains cable connected to the charging station does not present
a trip hazard.

Do not use the device if it is damaged.
Danger of Electric Shock and Fire
■
Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate the device outdoors,
in rooms with high humidity or on hot surfaces.
■
Never touch the device, charging station, turbo nozzle, mains cable or mains adapter
with wet hands when these components are connected to the mains power.
■
Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in the air. Never operate
the device in the vicinity of a gas source.
■
Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fi re. Do
not insert anything into the ventilation openings of the device and make sure that
these do not become clogged.
■
Never set up or use the device in the vicinity of highly fl ammable materials (curtains,
textiles, etc.).
■
Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■
The mains adapter should only be connected to a plug socket that has been properly
installed. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection. The mains
voltage must match the technical data of the mains adapter. Only use suitable exten-
sion cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device or mains adapter
(see the "Technical Data" chapter).
■
Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket in the event of a thunderstorm.
■
Always pull the mains adapter and never the mains cable!
■
Always check the device and accessories for damage before putting them into oper-
ation. Do not use them if they are damaged!
Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
■
The device should only be used when it is fully and correctly assembled! The dust
container and fi lter must be inserted and must not be damaged! If the dirt were
to get inside the motor unit, this could damage the motor.
■
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature fl uctuations,
open fi re, direct sunlight, and do not expose the motor unit to any moisture or wet
conditions.
■
Do not drop the device or subject it to heavy impacts.
■
Empty and clean the dust container after each use. The fi lter must also be regularly
cleaned in order to prevent overloading of the motor.
