Mounting / Removing Attachments

CAUTION!
Always pull the plug from the plug socket before you remove / change an attachment.
Always pull the plug and never the cable.
Shortly after use, the attachment used may still be very hot. You should therefore wait
for a few minutes until it has completely cooled down before you detach it.

Filling the Water Reservoir

CAUTION!
Always pull out the mains plug before you top up/empty the water reservoir. Always
pull the plug and never the cable.
Never pour any cleaning agent or other additives into the device. This could destroy
the device and safe working is no longer guaranteed.
Never pour more than 120 ml (one measuring cup fi lled to the MAX marking) of water
into the water reservoir.
The device can be operated with both tap water and distilled water. However, if
you use tap water, the device will need to be regularly descaled (see the "After
Use" chapter, "Descaling" section). If you use distilled water, there is no need to
descale the device. The use of distilled water is therefore recommended.
1. Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains power.
2. Fill the measuring cup (5) up to the MAX marking with water.
3. Pull the seal plug (9) from the water reservoir (6). Please note that it cannot be com-
pletely detached from the device.

Attaching: Slide the locking lug on the rounded end of the
attachment into the groove on the device. Press the at-
tachment towards the device until it engages audibly.
Removing: Slide back the release button. The attachment
is released and can be removed.

4. Pour the water from the measuring cup into the water res-
ervoir.
5. Press the plug fi rmly into the opening of the reservoir.
Make sure that the water reservoir has been fi rmly sealed
shut.
