5. Transportation and installation
5. Transportation and installation
The machine must only be transported and installed by
companies / persons instructed / authorised to do so by the
manufacturer or under the manufacturer's supervision.
During installation
· mechanical work must be performed by appropriately
qualified persons.
5.1 Transportation
Note
To prepare transportation, please bear in mind

the weight of the machine!
The machine weighs approx. 160 kg.
Transportation on fork lift truck or pallet jack:
If fork lift trucks or hand pallet jacks are used for loading or
unloading, they must be in proper working order and suitable
for carrying the weights that are involved.
Attention must always be paid to the centre of gravity of the
item being transported!
During transportation, the machines must be properly secu-
red; the load must be evenly distributed. Avoid jerky move-
ments.

Warning of suspended loads!
To relocate the machines they must be lifted and
transported. The machine can topple over and
fall as a result of improper lifting and transpor-
tation.
Never stand under suspended loads!

While transporting the machine, no persons must
be present on the machine or hang on it.
5.2 Installation
5.2.1 jkSite of installation
An even standing surface with a sufficient load bearing ca-
pacity is essential for setting up the machine in a proper and
safe manner. Any unevenness in the standing surface must be
evened out by metal shims to ensure that the machine is not
standing in a distorted manner.
As the machine is delivered without a subframe, the owner
must ensure that the machine is properly and securely ins-
talled.
