d) Taking photos
To take a photo, briefly press the switch button for the photo function once (see Fig. 1, Pos. 9). The remote control
emits a short audio signal as acknowledgement. The LED of the camera electronics flashes red three times briefly
during the creation and saving of the image and then returns to a steady green.
e) Reading videos and photos
After landing, disconnect the flight battery from the quadrocopter and remove the memory card from the card slot. The
photo and video data can then be read using a memory card reader (not included) on a notebook or a PC.
Photos and videos are respectively stored in separate folders on the memory card.
Please pay attention to the following general notes for the correct use of the camera:
• When you are not using the camera, take the microSD memory card out of the slot.
• Do not touch the contacts on the back of the microSD memory card with your fingers.
• Make sure that the microSD memory card is inserted into the camera correctly and completely; otherwise, the card
could be damaged.
• Make sure that the flight battery is disconnected from the quadrocopter when you insert or remove the microSD
memory card. Otherwise, data on the memory card could be damaged.
