Safety Instructions

We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect handling
or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such cases, the warranty will be null and void.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. worn-out engine bearings) are excluded from the gu-
arantee and warranty; the same is the case for accidental damages (e.g. broken extension arm or
propeller).
Dear Customer, the following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of the product, but
also for your own safety and the safety of other persons. Therefore, please read this chapter very carefully
before using the product for the first time!
a) General
Attention, important note!
Operation of the model can cause damage to property and/or persons. Therefore, it is imperative that you
are sufficiently insured for the operation of the model, e.g. with a liability insurance policy.
If you already have liability insurance, find out from your insurance company whether the operation of the
model is covered before using the model.
Please note: In some countries, you are required by law to have insurance for all model aircraft!
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not allowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not become damp or wet.
• Because sensitive steering electronics are used in the quadrocopter that also react to temperature variations and
are optimised for a specific temperature range, operation below +10 °C is to be avoided. The product was develo-
ped for use at an ambient temperature between +10 °C and +40 °C and a humidity level that is normal in Central
Europe during dry weather. Operation outside these stated conditions can cause changes to (material) characteris-
tics and, as a result, even damage to the product.
• If you do not yet have sufficient knowledge as how to deal with remote-controlled models, please seek the advice of
an experienced model sportsman or a model construction club.
• Do not carelessly leave the packaging material lying around, since it could become a dangerous plaything for child-
ren.
• Should questions arise that are not answered with the help of these operating instructions, please contact us (for
contact information, see Chapter 1) or another expert.
The operation and the handling of RC quadrocopters must be learned! If you have never steered such a
model, start especially carefully and get used to the reactions of the model to the remote control commands
first. Do be patient!
