Getting started with the quadrocopter
a) Charging the flight battery
The dual-cell flight battery (1) is charged using the sup-
plied power adapter (2) and the LiPo charger (3).
When charging, always remove the battery
from the model in order to prevent a shape
distortion of the plastic parts should heat de-
velop.
First connect the connection cable of the power adapter
(4) to the right side of the LiPo charger.
On the underside of the LiPo charger is the battery char-
ging socket, at which the polarised plug of the 3-pole
balancer connection cable (5) is connected.
Attention!
When connecting the polarised plug connector
(5) to the LiPo charger, make sure that both
guide noses of the plug point upward.
The 2-pole connection cable with the BEC plug (see Fig.
5, Pos. 6) is not required for charging. Later on, you will
connect the battery to the model with this cable.
The connection cable of the power adapter is rolled up in the delivered state. Before the first use, the cable
tie must be opened and the cable unwound.
After you have connected the power adapter (see Fig. 5, Pos. 2) to a mains outlet, the green operating voltage indica-
tor on the LiPo charger (see Fig. 5, Pos. 7.) lights up and shows you the correct power supply.
As long as the red charging check LED on the LiPo charger (see Fig. 5, Pos. 8) is lit, the battery is charging. Once the
charging process is finished, the red charging check LED goes out.
As soon as the charging process is finished, disconnect the charged battery from the LiPo charger and
remove the power adapter from the mains outlet.
