Product description

The quadrocopter, which is fully assembled and ready for flight, has 4 motors that are controlled separately from
each other, each of which drives a propeller via a gearbox. Using the simultaneous acceleration of all propellers, the
quadrocopter can lift off from the ground and, at appropriate propeller speeds, hover steadily in the air.
For stabilisation in flight, the quadrocopter has a sophisticated system of electronics that is designed to detect uncon-
trolled movements of the model and immediately compensate for them. For flight in a given direction, the electronics
in the model detect the control impulses of the transmitter and alter the speeds of the individual motors accordingly.
The quadrocopter thus tilts in the desired direction and the lift thereby also acts as thrust. The quadrocopter flies in
the respective direction.
On the model, two propellers turn clockwise and two turn counter-clockwise. Through a targeted change of speed
of the two propeller groups relative to each other (propellers turning to the right turn somewhat faster and propellers
turning to the left turn somewhat slower or vice versa), it is possible to turn (yaw) the quadrocopter around the vertical
axis while keeping the altitude the same and keeping the quadrocopter in the same spot.
So that you can better recognise the model's alignment in flight, the two propellers pointing forward are made of red
plastic and the two back propellers are made of black plastic. To protect the propellers and minimise the risk of injury,
the lightweight foam-plastic body of the quadrocopter is designed such that the four propellers rotate inside protective
rings.
A central electronic circuit board under the quadrocopter's coupling contains all the components necessary for stabi-
lising and steering the quadrocopter. The enclosed 2.4 GHz radio remote control system allows a sensitive steering
of the model.
For novices, there is an option to adjust the steering sensitivity to button presses on the transmitter. When the trans-
mitter is switched on, the steering sensitivity is at 40%. The steering reaction of the model is thereby significantly
reduced (Dual Rate function) and the model reacts very slowly to the steering commands. If desired, you can then
increase the steering sensitivity to 60%, 80% or 100% to use the optimal steering or the maximum manoeuvrability of
the model. When Acro mode is activated, the quadrocopter can even do roll-overs (flips).
A camera is mounted underneath the quadrocopter, which can record images or even videos during the flight at the
push of a button. To use the camera, you still need a suitable microSD/microSDHC memory card (not included, must
be ordered separately).
Legal Notice:
Please pay attention to the legal principles of your country regarding the creation of photos and video re-
cordings of persons, objects and facilities as well as the publication of such photos and videos. You accept
sole responsibility for the case that rights, laws or ordinances are violated by the use of the quadrocopter as
camera carrier.
To operate the transmitter, you still need 6 batteries of the type AA/Mignon (e.g. Conrad Item No. 652506, please
order 6 x).
