Setting options: from every week up to every 12 weeks, that is, the
shortest interval is one week, and the longest interval is 12 weeks.
GSM Omit 1st Digit
If "GSM Omit 1st Digit" is activated (ON), the first digit of the stored contact
telephone number for a GSM connection is not dialed.
If you want to make calls from a telephone of a private branch exchange
into the public telephone network, you must first dial what is known as
the exchange access code (code for an outside line) before you dial the
telephone number.
In this case the exchange access code must be the first digit of the
telephone number of the contact. This is followed by the actual destina-
tion telephone number. The exchange access code is available from the
administrator of the private branch exchange or in the instructions of the
private branch exchange. It is usually the number "0"; in the UK it is usu-
ally the number "9". Format of the telephone number: "0 0123 4567890".
The device can thus be connected to an analog extension of a private
branch exchange. This extension does not necessarily have to be set up
for automatic outside line dialing.
On a private branch exchange, if you are using an extension that is pro-
grammed for automatic outside dialing, or if you are using a regular analog
telephone connection, select "GSM Omit 1st Digit: OFF".
SMS messages are normally sent only via GSM. In the telephone
number of the contact, store the normal destination telephone
number.
Format of the telephone number: "0123 4567890".
With a private branch exchange, the device is connected to an analog ex-
tension without automatic outside line dialing. If you want to implement SMS
dispatch that starts on the analog connection of the device, then under
"System Settings  SMS-PSTN Options  SMSC Call Number"
program the exchange access code before the actual service center tele-
phone number.
Format of the telephone number: "0 0123 4567890".
The telephone number of the contact remains in the format "0123 4567890",
that is, without the exchange access code.
