The device first tries to transmit the alarm messages via the analog tele-
phone network (if the PSTN module is installed). If it is not possible to
transmit them in this way due to a malfunction of the connected telephone
line, the device attempts to transmit the alarm message via the GSM cellular
network.
If the telephone line connected to the device is in order (e.g. the
level of the supply voltage is within the normal range) but no
connection can be established, the device does not switch to

GSM. This can happen if the device is connected to an extension

exchange to the public telephone network is not functioning cor-

GSM first
The device first attempts to send alarm messages over the GSM cellular
network. If no transmission is possible here because of a poor GSM signal,
the device attempts to transmit the alarm message via the analog telephone
network.
PSTN Only
Alarm messages are transmitted over the analog telephone line (if the PSTN
module is installed).

Change Language?

Here you can change the language of the display and of the log without
having to carry out a factory reset. The available languages are:
Deutsch, Francais, Nederlands, Dansk, Italiano, Polish, English
12.3.10

Summer/Winter Time

When activated (ON), the device will automatically switch between summer
(daylight savings) and winter time. The dates correspond to the dates speci-
fied in the country of the language selected (default).
If deactivated (OFF), you need to manually adjust the time in the menu item
"Date & Time" to winter or summer (daylight savings) time on the corre-
sponding dates.

12.4 Access codes

Operation of the device is protected from unauthorized access by two codes:

Changing the passcode

This 4-digit passcode is required for local programming, local operation of
the device, and canceling dialing processes. The default is "1234".
