l Do not kink the tubing during expression.
l Double pumping saves time and increases
the energy content of the milk. Milk
production may be increased and main-
tained long-term.

The Lactina Select has an additional
knob for adjusting the pumping speed.
Select a fast pumping rhythm to stimu-
late the milk flow. Reduce the speed
when the milk begins to flow.

double pumping

Insert second adapter end of tubing
into opening in cylinder holder. Place
the breastshield on the breast as de-
scribed in chapter 7.1, step 2 and 3.

7.5 Manual pumping

Screw the cylinder onto
the breastshield connector.
