Saw blade height adjustment
Saw blade angle adjustment
Fig. "Q"
• The height adjustment is made by simply turning
the hand wheel "1" to the left or right.
• On aØ 315 mmsaw blade, read off the set cutting
height on the left-hand scale.
• Saw blade Ø 315 mm = cutting height from 0 - 110
mm
• The angle adjustment is made by simply rotating
the hand wheel "2" to the left or right.
• The saw blade angle adjustment (max. 45°) is
made by rotating the hand wheel to the desired cut-
ting angle.
• To reset to 0° move the hand wheel back to the
end stop.
Switch
Fig. "Q1"
1 - Saw blade On/Off switch
2 - EMERGENCY OFF (only with pre-scorer)
3 - Pre-scorer On/Off switch
4 - Main switch (only with 4.8kW engine)
5 - Phase inverter (For mains power connection or
change of location, the direction of rotation must
be checked and, if necessary, the polarity must be
changed.)
Transverse cutting gauge
Fig. "R"
The transverse cutting gauge can be inserted into the
saw table both to the left and to the right of the saw
blade.
The stepless pivot range is 0-60° to both sides and is
fixed with the tommy screw.
Fix the setting at 0° as well as 45° with the socket bolt
and tighten the tommy screw.
Folding stop
(Special accessories)
The folding stop mounted on the stop rail is an ideal
supplement to the transverse cutting gauge.
The fine adjustment on the end stop enables precise
settings via the knurled screw.
Saw blade, riving knife and protective cover

IMPORTANT:
m Only use well-sharpened, crack-free, non-de-
formed original Scheppach saw blades!
Replace worn table inlay.
ATTENTION!
m Pull out the mains plug before replacing the
saw blade!

2 Hexagonal nuts M 20 left
see Fig. "L"
Push rod and push grip
Fig. S1
• Always use the push stick when cutting narrower
workpieces, with a distance between the saw blade
and the stop rail of less than 120 mm.
• Use the push grip to slide small specially shaped
workpieces. You can make your own custom wood-
en push blocks and fasten them to the push grip.
Working instructions
For lengthwise cutting, the tip of the front face of the
parallel stop must be located near an imaginary line
at 45° to the leading edge of the sawblade. (See Fig.
T1)

Parallel stop
When cutting with the transverse stop, the tip of the
parallel stop must be positioned in front of the leading
edge of the sawblade. (See Fig. T2)
Cross-cutting Fig. "T3"
Making short workpieces on the parallel stop
• Retract the parallel or auxiliary stop far enough so
that the rear end is in front of the sprocket of the cir-
cular saw blade. This prevents the workpiece from
jamming.
• Remove workpieces from the danger zone with a
push stick (not with your hands).
• Attach the deflector strip if the workpieces can be
caught by the rising sprocket of the circular saw
blade and thrown back (make deflector strip your-
self).
Cross-cutting Fig. "T4"
Cutting narrow workpieces to length at the cross
stop
• Move parallel stop away from the circular saw
blade.
• Attach the deflector strip so that if workpieces
could be caught by the rising sprocket of the cir-
cular saw blade and thrown back (make deflector
strip yourself).
• After the cut, release the gauge stop from the cross
stop and pull the workpiece away from the circular
saw blade or push the workpiece through up to be-
hind the riving knife.
