6. Proper use
• The machine complies with the applicable EC ma-
chinery directive.
• The machine has a workstation which is located in
front of the machine to the left or right of the saw
blade.
• The working area and surroundings of the machine
must be kept free of disruptive foreign bodies in or-
der to prevent accidents
• In principle, the workpieces to be processed must
be free of foreign bodies such as nails or screws.
• Before start-up the machine must be connected to
a suction system with a flexible, low-flammability
suction line. For extracting the wood chippings or
sawdust, use the Scheppach suction system ha
3200 or ha 2600. The flow speed at the suction port
must be 20 m/s. Negative pressure 1200 Pa.
• The Scheppach auto switch-on device is available
as a special accessory.

When switching on the tool the suction system will
start up automatically after a 2-3 second start-up
delay. This prevents overloading the workshop fuse
or circuit breaker. After switching off the tool the
suction system continues to run for 3-4 seconds af-
terwards and then switches off automatically. The
residual dust is thus extracted, as required by the
hazardous material ordinance. This saves power
and reduces the noise. The suction system only
runs whilst the tool is being operated. For work in
commercial areas the Scheppach dust extractor rg
4000 must be used. Do not switch off or remove the
suction system whilst the tool is running.
• The Scheppach circular table saw is designed ex-
clusively for the processing of wood and wood-like
materials. Only original Scheppach tools and ac-
cessories may be used. Use the appropriate saw
blade depending on the type of cutting and the type
of wood (solid wood, laminated wood or chipboard)
per EN 847-1. Observe Scheppach "Tools and spe-
cial accessories".
• The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages
arising from inappropriate use!
• The machine is intended to be used in commercial
applications.
The machine may only be used in the intended man-
ner. Any use beyond this is improper. The user/opera-
tor, not the manufacturer, is responsible for damages
or injuries of any type resulting from this.
An element of the intended use is also the obser-
vance of the safety instructions, as well as the as-
sembly instructions and operating information in the
operating manual.
