Noise data
Measuring conditions as per DIN EN ISO 11202;
DIN EN ISO 3746; DIN ISO 7960
The stipulated values are emission values and so do
not necessarily represent safe working values.
Although there is a correlation between emission lev-
els and exposure levels, it is not possible to reliably
determine whether additional precautionary meas-
ures will be required or not based on this. Factors
that could influence the exposure level present at any
given time in the work area include the duration of
exposure, the nature of the working area, other noise
sources etc. e.g. the number of machines and neigh-
bouring processes. The permissible workstation val-
ues can also vary from country to country. However,
this information should enable the operator to better
evaluate the hazards and risks.

Dust emission details
The dust emission values measured according to the
"Principles for Testing Dust Emission (Concentration
Parameters) of Woodworking Machines" of the Ger-
man Expert Committee on Wood are below 2 mg/m
Thus, when the machine is connected to a proper op-
erational extraction system with an air velocity of at
least 20 m/s, it can be assumed that the TRK limit val-
ue for wood dust applicable in the Federal Republic of
Germany will be safely complied with in the long term.
