• Before commissioning the machine must be con-
nected to a suction system with a flexible, low-flam-
mability suction line. The suction system must
switch on autonomously with the switching on of
the circular table saw.
• Switch off the engine when leaving the work sta-
tion. Pull out the mains plug.
• Also disconnect the machine from any external
power supplies, even with minor changes in loca-
tion! Before restarting the machine, connect it prop-
erly to the mains again!
• Installation, repairs and maintenance work on the
electrical equipment may only be carried out by
electricians.
• The machine can produce ignition sparks during
operation.
• Report malfunctions and faults on the machine
including the guards and tools to the responsible
person immediately after they have been identified.
• The emergency stop command devices and mova-
ble guards must be constantly checked for function.
• All protective and safety equipment must be reas-
sembled immediately after repair, maintenance is
completed.
• Ensure adequate lighting at the workstation.
• Check the braking time to bring the saw blade to
a standstill on a daily basis. It must not exceed 10
seconds, otherwise do not continue working.
• Wear hearing protection and safety goggles when
working.
• Wear gloves when carrying out saw blade replace-
ment!
• Disconnect the machine from the power supply
when cleaning.
• Operating conditions: Do not use the machine out-
side but only in enclosed rooms.
• Storage conditions: Air humidity must be at least
90% and must be non-condensing.
• Secure large workpieces against tilting. (e.g. for ex-
ample with a dolly)
m ATTENTION!
This power tool generates an electromagnetic field
during operation. This field can impair active or pas-
sive medical implants under certain conditions. In or-
der to prevent the risk of serious or deadly injuries,
we recommend that persons with medical implants
consult with their physician and the manufacturer of
the medical implant prior to operating the machine.
Residual risks
The machine has been built according to the state-of-
the-art and the recognised technical safety require-
ments. However, individual residual risks can arise
during operation.
• Danger of injury for fingers and hands due to the
rotating cutting tool or workpiece with improper
guiding of the tool or workpiece.
• Injuries due to the workpiece being ejected at high
speed due to improper holding or guiding, such as
working without the stop.
• Risk to health due to noise. The permissible noise
level is exceeded during operations. It is essential
that personal protective equipment, such as hear-
ing protection, is worn.
• Injuries due to defective saw blade. Check the in-
tegrity of the saw blade regularly.
• In the event of a power failure, the tool may rotate
for longer than the maximum run-down time of 10s.
• Hazard due to electrical power, with the use of im-
proper electrical connection cables.
• Furthermore, despite all precautions having been met,
some non-obvious residual risks may still remain.
• Residual risks can be minimised if the "Safety in-
structions" and "Proper use" are observed along
with the whole of the operating instructions.
