with the requirements stipulated in
UN-Manual Tests and Criteria, Part III,
Subsection 38.3.
The user can transport STIHL
rechargeable batteries by road without
additional conditions to the place where
the machine is to be used.
The lithium ion batteries included are
subject to the provisions of hazardous
goods law.
When shipped by a third party (e.g., air
transport or a shipping company),
special packaging and identification
requirements must be followed.
When preparing the item for shipment, a
hazardous goods expert must be
consulted. Please comply with any
additional national regulations.
Pack the rechargeable battery so that it
cannot move inside the packaging.
