Locking the controls
You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use (for example children accidentally turning
cooking zones on).
When the controls are locked, all controls except the ON/OFF control
To lock the controls
Touch the key lock control
locked.
NOTE: You can always turn the hob off in an emergency, but the controls will still be locked when you
turn the hob on again. Unlock the controls first before operating the hob.
To unlock the controls
1. Make sure the hob is turned on.
2. Touch and hold the key lock control for 2 seconds. "Lo" will disappear.
3. You can now start using the hob.
Detection of Small Non-magnetic Items
When an unsuitable size or non-magnetic pan (e.g. aluminium), or some other small item (e.g. knife, fork,
key) has been left on the cooking zone, the symbol
enter the standby state after 1-2 minutes.
Auto Shut Down
The feature occurs whenever you forget to switch off a cooking zone. The default shutdown times are
shown in the table below:

When the pot is removed, the induction hob will stop heating immediately and then be automatically
switched off after 1-2 minutes.

When food comes to the boil, reduce the temperature setting.
