X Shake the container back and forth 10 times.
X Remove the parts from the isopropyl alcohol 70% (V/V) bath and pour off
the excess isopropyl alcohol.
X Soak the tip of a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol 70 % (V/V).
X Insert the soaked cotton swab from both sides to clean the inside of the
Mouthpiece.
X With the soaked cotton swab, clean the inside of the Cooling Unit Cap and
the Cooling Unit Base, running along the rib structure to remove residue.
X If necessary, wipe the Cap Lock with isopropyl alcohol 70% (V/V).
X Rinse all parts with cold running water (<40°C) of drinking water quality for
at least 30 seconds.
X Dry all parts with a clean kitchen towel.
X Let all parts dry completely.
6.3.3 Disinfection of Cooling Unit, Filling Chamber Screen
and Mouthpiece
X Completely disassemble the Cooling Unit and the Mouthpiece as descri-
bed in chapter 6.3.1 „Disassembling the Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece",
page 72 and remove the Screen from the Filling Chamber.
X Bring a large pot filled with drinking quality water to a boil.
X Put all parts except the Cap Lock in the pot, making sure that all parts are
completely covered with water.
X Leave the parts in the boiling water for 15 minutes.
X Remove the parts from the boiling water.
X Let all parts dry completely.

X Put all parts of the Cooling Unit
(except Cap Lock) and the Filling
Chamber Screen in a sealable
container filled with isopropyl
alcohol 70 % (V/V).
X Close the container.
X Shake the container back and
forth 10 times.
X Let the parts rest in the isopropyl
alcohol bath 70% (V/V) for 30
minutes.
