Material damage caused by improper cleaning
Embrittlement of plastic parts.
• Do not immerse plastic parts in isopropyl alcohol 70% (V/V) for more
than 30 minutes.
6.2.2 Clean the Mouthpiece in the dishwasher
X Pull the Mouthpiece out of the Cooling Unit while gently tilting it back and
forth. Pull off the Mouthpiece Seal Ring.
X Pre-clean the Mouthpiece with a soft hand brush under cold running water
(<40°C) of drinking water quality to remove coarse impurities.
X Put the Mouthpiece in a commercially-available dishwasher. Ensure that
the openings are not blocked.
X Insert a commercially-available dishwashing tab and start the standard
wash program at 70°C.
X Rinse the mouthpiece after cleaning in the dishwasher with cold running
water (<40°C) of drinking water quality for at least 30 seconds. Ensure that
the water flows through the Mouthpiece.
X Dry the Mouthpiece with a clean kitchen towel.
6.2.3 Clean the mouthpiece in the washer-disinfector (WD)
X Pull the Mouthpiece out of the Cooling Unit while gently tilting it back and
forth. Pull off the Mouthpiece Seal Ring.
X Put the Mouthpiece in a WD. Ensure that the openings are not blocked.
X Start the following program:
