2.4 Basic Rules
X If the outer packaging is damaged or the Storz & Bickel seal is broken,
please either refuse acceptance or accept the package only with reserva-
tions and contact our Service Center immediately. If the inner packaging is
damaged, please also contact our Service Center immediately.
X In case of serious incidents, immediately contact our Service Center as
well as the competent authority of the member state in which the patient
is resident.
X These Instructions for Use must be kept for future reference. They are an
integral part of the Vaporizer and must be made available to the user.
X Download the current version of the Instructions for Use from
www.vapormed.com.
X Read these instructions carefully and completely before putting the Vapo-
rizer and USB-C Supercharger into operation.
X Always follow the instructions in these Instructions for Use when using
and servicing the device.
X The Vaporizer is not intended for use with children and adolescents un-
der 18 years of age. Adults may use the Vaporizer in accordance with the
instructions for use or a physician's instructions.
X If the user is suffering from respiratory tract or lung disease, the device
may only be used after consultation and with the consent of the trea-
ting physician. Depending on their density, the vapors may irritate the
respiratory tract and lungs, which may cause coughing.
X Do not operate the Vaporizer unattended.
X Store and use the Vaporizer and USB-C Supercharger at a sufficient di-
stance from heat sources (oven, stove, fireplace, etc.) and in a dry place
where the ambient temperature cannot drop below +5 °C (+41 °F).
X Do not expose Vaporizer and USB-C Supercharger to extreme fluctuations
in ambient temperature. Condensation humidity could interfere with the
functionality.
X Use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified or
provided by the manufacturer of this equipment could result in increased
electromagnetic emissions or decreased electromagnetic immunity of
this equipment and result in improper operation.
X Only use original STORZ & BICKEL accessories and spare parts.
X Do not use the Vaporizer and USB-C Supercharger in an inappropriate,
incorrect or unreasonable manner, as the manufacturer does not accept
any responsibility for any damage resulting from this.
