Empfindungs- und Durchblutungsstörungen der
versorgten Körperregion (z. B. bei Diabetes mellitus),
Hauterkrankungen, Hautirritationen und Verletzungen
im Versorgungsbereich; offene Wunden im versorgten
Körperabschnitt sind steril abzudecken.
Bei Nichtbeachtung der Kontraindikationen kann von
der Unternehmensgruppe der Julius Zorn GmbH keine
Haftung übernommen werden.
Nebenwirkungen
Bei sachgemäßer Anwendung sind keine Neben-
wirkungen bekannt. Sollten dennoch negative
Veränderungen (z. B. Hautirritationen) während der
verordneten Anwendung auftreten, so wenden Sie
sich bitte umgehend an Ihre Ärztin oder Ihren Arzt
oder medizinischen Fachhandel. Sollte eine Unver-
träglichkeit gegen einen oder mehrere Inhaltsstoffe
dieses Produktes bekannt sein, halten Sie bitte vor
Gebrauch Rücksprache mit Ihrer Ärztin oder Ihrem
Arzt. Sollten sich Ihre Beschwerden während der
Tragezeit verschlechtern, ziehen Sie bitte das Produkt
aus und suchen Sie umgehend ärztliches Fachperso-
nal auf. Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden/Verlet-
zungen, die aufgrund unsachgemäßer Handhabung
oder Zweckentfremdung entstanden sind.
Im Falle von Reklamationen im Zusammenhang mit
dem Produkt, wie beispielsweise Beschädigungen des
Gestricks oder Mängel in der Passform, wenden Sie
sich bitte direkt an Ihren medizinischen Fachhandel.
Nur schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse, die zu einer we-
sentlichen Verschlechterung des Gesundheitszustan-
des oder zum Tod führen können, sind dem Hersteller
und der zuständigen Behörde des Mitgliedsstaates
zu melden. Schwerwiegende Vorkommnisse sind im
Artikel 2 Nr. 65 der Verordnung (EU) 2017/745 (MDR)
definiert.
Entsorgung
Im Regelfall ist das Produkt nach Nutzungsende über
den herkömmlichen Entsorgungsweg zu vernichten.
Bitte beachten Sie dabei die geltenden örtlichen/
nationalen Vorgaben.

Intended purpose
JuzoFlex knee Supports provide anatomical guidance
for the affected knee joint, thus relieving it during
movement. Medical compressive active supports have a
proprioceptive effect. They improve self-perception and
can compensate for muscle imbalances. They alleviate
pain and support the removal of fluids from the tissue,
thanks to their rheological effect.
How to put on the product correctly:
Put on your support while sitting down to prevent
injuries or falling.
1. Pull the knee support over your forefoot up to the
right place on your knee.
2. 500 / 505: position the knee support so that the
patella (kneecap) is enclosed by the patella pad.
Genuaktiv: position the knee support so that the
patella (kneecap) is enclosed by the crescent-sha-
ped pads.
100 / 300 / 303: position the support so that your
patella (kneecap) has its pivotal point in the middle
of the recessed knee zone (300/303) or the lateral
joint splints have their pivotal points in the middle
of the knee (100).
The correct fit of your support is guaranteed when
it surrounds the knee without applying too much
(painful) pressure. You can re-adjust the support by
repeating step 2 at any time.
Caution: rough, unfiled finger nails or sharpedged
rings etc. may damage the knitted fabric. Toe nails and
calluses can also cause damages.
Please note:
Wear your knee support only per your physician's
prescription. Knee supports should only be dispensed
by trained personnel at a medical specialty store. As
therapy progresses or new symptoms appear, it will
be necessary to take new measurements and possibly
to produce a new knee support. The support is largely
resistant to oils, ointments, skin moisture and other
environmental influences. The durability of the material
may be affected by certain combinations of the above.
It is therefore recommended to have your knee support
checked regularly by your medical specialist retailer. If
your knee support becomes damaged please consult
your specialty retailer. Do not repair it yourself as this
could impair the quality and effectiveness. For hygienic
reasons, the support is not suitable for treating more
than one patient. The sewn-in textile label is important
for the identification and traceability of the product. We
therefore ask you not to remove the label under any
circumstances.
Washing and care instructions
Please note the care instructions on the textile label
sewn into your stockings. Wash the supports separately
the first time (colour may run). Your support should
be washed every day or between uses on a gentle or
delicate wash cycle (30 °C). Tip: a laundry net provides
additional protection for the knitted fabric. Please do not
use fabric softener! When hand washing, rinse well and
do not wring. We recommend the gentle Juzo special
detergent. You can reduce drying time by placing the
support on a thick towel after washing, tightly rolling the
towel up and firmly pressing out excess moisture. Then
hang the support up loosely. Do not leave the product
in the towel and do not dry it on a radiator or in the sun.
Juzo supports are not suitable for dry cleaning. The
support is not suitable for tumble drying.
