General information
▪ The operating instructions contain important information
related to stove setup, operation and maintenance.
▪ The installer and operator must read the operating
instructions prior to installing and using the stove.
▪ Failure to observe the operating and installation instructions will void the
warranty. Any structural modifications to the stove by the operator is prohibited.
▪ The following regulations and documents must be observed when installing
and removing the fireplace, connecting the combustion air controller and during
operation:
► Building code.
► Chimney calculations as per DIN EN 13384-1 and
DIN EN 13384-2.
► Technical documentation for the stove.
► Local ordinances as well as all necessary, applicable national and
European standards.
▪ Keep the operating instructions in a safe location
near your stove.
▪ Please note and observe all warnings and safety notes.
▪ Always use original replacement parts.
Failure to observe these operating instructions will void all liability and warranty claims.

General safety notes
CAUTION: HOT SURFACES
The stove gets very hot during use.Touching surfaces may result in burns:
► Do not touch hot surfaces.
► Do not wear highly flammable clothing when operating the
stove.
► Never leave children unsupervised near the stove.
CAUTION: HOT STOVE PARTS
Control elements such as the firebox door handle and the ash drawer can get very hot
during operation:
► Always use the included stove glove when opening
and closing the firebox door to add fuel.
► Allow the stove to cool down completely before cleaning and
maintenance (e.g. emptying the ash drawer).
WARNING: FIRE HAZARD
Fire hazard near the stove (especially radiation through glass surfaces):
► Never dry objects such as clothing on the stove.
► Do not store highly flammable materials or liquids (e.g. paper,
aerosol cans, spirits,...) on, in or in the direct vicinity of the
stove.
► Do not place objects which are not heat-resistant (e.g. candles,
plastic bottles,...) on, in or in the direct vicinity of the stove.
► Observe the specified safety distances to flammable materials
in front of, next to and above the stove.
► Flammable flooring materials (e.g. safety glass, wood, laminate,
carpeting) must be protected with a floorplate made of
non-combustible material (e.g. tiles, safety glass, slate, or sheet
steel).
DANGER: FLUE GAS LEAK
Damaged insulation or leaking flue pipes release toxic gases from the stove:
► Open all windows and doors to ventilate the room.
► Do not add fuel.
► Notify the fire brigade in an emergency.
