21. Keep the heater clean. Dust, dirt and/or a build up of deposits in the heater are a common cause of overheating.
Make sure these deposits are removed regularly.
22. Do not turn on the appliance if you have discovered damage to the appliance, cord or plug, if the appliance is
malfunctioning, if it has been dropped or if there are signs of any other defect. Return the complete product to the
vendor or to a certified electrician for inspection and/or repair. Always ask for original parts.
23. The heater is filled with special oil. Repairs that involve opening the oil containers may only be carried out by the
manufacturer or one of its service points. Consult them if you suspect an oil leak.
24. Do not use attachments and/or accessories that have not been recommended or supplied by the manufacturer.
25. The appliance (incl. cord and plug) may only be opened and/or repaired by properly authorised and qualified
persons.
26. Only use this heater for its intended purpose, and as described in this instruction manual.

Installation, Location and Connection
Remove all packaging material and keep out of reach of children. After removing packaging, check the appliance
for damage or other signs that could indicate a fault/defect/malfunction. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance,
but contact your vendor for inspection or replacement.
Slide the foot supplied onto the back fin of the radiator (see photo); the foot on the front fin has already been
attached.
Warning: only use the heater if it is standing upright, with a secure base (as pictured on the front of this
booklet). Any other position is dangerous!
Choose a suitable location for the heater which is at least one metre away from any obstructions, walls or
inflammable materials (see also safety instructions).
Make sure a functioning heater is always placed on a solid, flat and horizontal surface. Never place it on a bed,
couch, deep pile carpet etcetera!
Check that the socket used is earthed and that it matches the power specified on the heater's type plate.

Set-up and Operation

Set the power switches to OFF and the thermostat dial to maximum.
Plug in the heater.
Turn the heater on by switching the ON/OFF switch to ON. The light will go on and the heater begins to work.
When the room has reached the desired temperature, turn the thermostat button to the left (towards minimum) until
you hear a click. The light will go out. When the button is in this position, the heater will maintain the current
temperature by regularly switching on and off. The light will go on when the device switches on. Turning the
thermostat button to the right/left increases/decreases the set temperature.
To switch off, turn the power switches to OFF (off). The heater switches off. Unplug.
Note! It takes a long time for an oil filled radiator to cool down. Give the radiator sufficient time to cool down before
touching or moving (use handle!).
