8. INSTALLATION
The EXCHANGER must be installed in horizontal position (any other installation positions must be
previously requested and approved by company); the presence of any gradients compared to the
horizontal plane may alter the thermal performance of the heat exchanger.
In determining the layout of the system, it is suggested to provide enough space to allow the necessary
cleaning and periodic or extraordinary maintenance operations. To ensure alignment between the
connections of the equipment and the external lines and to minimize mechanical tensions and additional
stress not provided for on the outlets, we suggest to provide external lines and connect them to the
equipment only after having positioned the equipment. After a long period of inactivity, the gaskets
could be damaged and may therefore be necessary to replace them.
For a correct installation follow the instructions below:
1
Remove plastic caps on the nozzles and sleeves on connections,
2
THE HEAT EXCHANGER must rest exclusively on its own support brackets,
3
All the pipes connecting to the FLUID-FLUID HEAT EXCHANGER must not "discharge" vibrations
induced on it,
4
In the impossibility of "isolating" THE HEAT EXCHANGER from induced vibrations, insert the
appropriately sized vibration-damping joints on the inlet and outlet nozzle both side,
5
Do not subject THE EXCHANGER to dynamic loads,
6
Do not subject THE EXCHANGER to bending loads,
7
Do not subject THE EXCHANGER to excessive cyclic pressure/temperature loads,
8
Protect THE EXCHANGER from accidental impacts,
9
Do not execute mechanical, thermal and weld work on device.
WARNING:
INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE PRESSURE EQUIPMENT MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY
TRAINED PERSONNEL IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANDATORY LAWS IN THE RELEVANT APPLICATION
SECTOR.
