7. SAFETY DEVICE
1. It is the task of the installer to install safety accessories that comply with the essential requirements
required by the national legislation of the country where the equipment is installed,
2. Each pressure vessel must be equipped with one or more safety valves,
3. The choice of the characteristics of these valves is the responsibility of the installer who has the task
of inserting the appliance into the main system,
4. For the choice of the valve, refer to the technical documentation supplied by the valve manufacturers,
5. It is the task of the installer to provide appropriate systems for conveying the fluids discharged from
the safety devices,
6. Safety valve exhausts must be conveyed to appropriate safety areas,
7. Any cooling/heating fluid/gas can be suffocating if discharged in closed and / or insufficiently
ventilated areas;
8. Provide adequate exhaust / ventilation systems for any condition (normal use, maintenance, loading
/ unloading of the system, etc.);
9. Always refer to the technical and safety data sheets provided by the producers of the gas used in the
plant;
10. Strictly follow the instructions given on these cards;
11. The counter pressure determined by the maximum flow rate within the conveying systems to the
outside of the residual gases must be less than the pressure variation that insists on the safety valve
between the opening position and the maximum opening position;
12. The end user will also have to provide autonomously for the sizing and positioning of connections
that allow the thermal expansion of the device supplied, relieving the same from extra-loads due to
compression / traction generated by preventing the elongation induced by the thermal expansion of the
material;
NB: An external fire near the equipment causes critical issues for the exchanger
1. Do not weld on the heat exchanger body.
2. Avoid impacts of any kind during operation
3. Do not use the equipment under pressure for uses other than those prescribed.
NB: In the presence of leaks:
1. Stop the operation of the equipment,
2. Isolate it from the system.
