6. ESSENTIAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
The pressure equipment must operate in such a way that the pressure and temperature conditions
indicated on the nameplate are not exceeded.

General conditions for good operation
Below follows a list of binding conditions for the purpose of the proper operation of the equipment in
question:
Correct installation of the control and safety devices,
Operation consistent with the nameplate data and with fluids having suitable
characteristics,
Cleaning of the equipment,
Correct execution of maintenance and repairs,
Correct connection of piping,
Periodic check of control and safety devices.
Adjustments and safety
It is essential for the safety of personnel to comply with accident prevention requirements laid down by
regulations in force. All of the equipment and control and safety devices connected to the equipment
must comply with applicable standards.
