- Never leave a hob unattended when operating at maximum output. Overflow may cause smoke
and greasy residues could catch fire.
- Never leave a hob switched on without cookware on top, as the maximum heat level is reached
very quickly and you risk damaging the heating element.
- Make sure that no heat-sensitive objects or utensils are placed too close to large pots or pans,
which could protrude beyond the cooking perimeter.
- It's best to cook with a lid on the cookware. This saves energy.
6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning:
Make sure that all of the appliance's controls are set to the "Off" position.
Do not remove the dials to clean the control panel.
There's a risk of fire if the cleaning process isn't carried out in line with the instructions.
Clean the appliance after each use to guarantee its proper functioning.
Clean the oven using a soft sponge or a soft cloth soaked in warm water with a little washing-up
liquid. Then, wipe it down with a damp cloth, then carefully dry it using a soft, dry cloth.
Sometimes, you may need to use a specific cleaning product for a full clean.
Clean the outside of the appliance using a slightly damp cloth. Fully dry.
A – Cleaning the control panel
Do not remove the dials to clean the control panel.
Wipe with a soft cloth or sponge and water mixed with washing-up liquid, then dry with a soft cloth.
B – Cleaning the cooking surface
Clean up spills immediately to prevent them from burning onto the cooking surface.
To clean your hob, use a soft sponge and water containing washing-up liquid or a product suitable
for your hob.
Dry the appliance with a soft, clean cloth.
Do not use objects that could scratch the cooking surface (such as abrasive pads, knife points,
etc.).
C – Cleaning the accessories
Wash the cooking grid and drip tray with soapy water after each use, then rinse and dry
thoroughly before use.
Before carrying out any cleaning operations, unplug the appliance.
