Cleaning the brush
1. Turn the brush clockwise until the brush holder springs
are facing forward.
2. Pull the brush holder springs apart.

The brush falls out of the holder.
3. Check the brush for foreign objects (e.g. parcel tape or
foil).
4. Clean the brush under running water.
5. Pull the brush holder springs apart and fit the brush.
Checking the brush for wear and tear
The brush is worn out when the bristle length corresponds
to the length of the yellow indicator bristle.
1. Replace the brush (See Replacing the brush).
Replacing the brush
1. Turn the brush clockwise until the brush holder springs
are facing forward.
2. Pull the brush holder springs apart.

3. Fit the new brush.
4. Pull the brush holder springs apart and fit the brush.
Replacing the squeegee blade
1. Unscrew the M6 x 12 screws (6x).

2. Remove the retaining plate and the squeegee blade.
3. Fit the new squeegee blade on the retaining plate.
4. Fasten the retaining plate using the M6 x 12 screws
(6x).

DANGER
Danger of crushing and shearing!
Danger of crushing and shearing due to running belt
drives.
It is essential to close and lock the sweeping mechanism
hood before you can put the device back into operation af-
ter maintenance work.
Checking the drive belt
1. Fold the hood of the pre-sweeping unit forwards.
2. Remove the 4 screws from the protective plate.
3. Remove the protective plate.
4. Check the belt of the suction turbine for wear and cor-
rect fit.
